    Elderly Woman Surrenders 120 Cats and Kittens

    A number of native rescues and shelters in Paterson, New Jersey teamed up with Animal Management to rescue 120 cats and kittens from a three-story dwelling.

    The mass rescue started after the overwhelmed proprietor — an aged lady — known as in asking to give up the pets. Animal management officers with Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge (RBARI), Homeless Tails, and FOWA Rescue are working with Paterson Animal Management to take away the cats from the house.

    Commenting on the large-scale rescue, John DeCando, the chief animal management officer in Paterson, instructed NorthJersey.com: “It’s not like a spot the place you go inside and you discover useless cats. This isn’t the scenario right here,” DeCando defined. “It’s an aged woman that obtained very overwhelmed, and with the assistance from these organizations all the pieces needs to be OK.”
