    Audubon Mural Project and NYC Parks Celebrate New Murals at Community Gardens

    NEW YORK—At present the Nationwide Audubon Society and NYC Parks introduced 21 new murals at GreenThumb community gardens in The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. Every mural was designed by a collaborative course of with companions Audubon, Gitler &_____ Gallery, and NYC Parks’ Art in the Parks program and NYC Parks GreenThumb. Painted by New York Metropolis-based artists, the murals depict 24 climate-threatened birds and greater than 30 totally different native crops that birds depend upon for meals and shelter in small city greenspaces like neighborhood gardens.

    These murals are a part of the Audubon Mural Project, a public-art initiative drawing consideration to birds weak to extinction from local weather change.
