NEW YORK / SANTIAGO / BOGOTA (January 15, 2026) – Audubon invitations photographers and videographers of all expertise ranges to enter the 2026 Audubon Photography Awards. Submissions shall be accepted from residents of america, Canada, Chile, and Colombia till Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 12 p.m. (midday) U.S. Jap Time (12 p.m. in Colombia and a pair of p.m. in Chile). Now in its seventeenth 12 months, the awards showcase beautiful pictures and movies that commemorate the sweetness and pleasure of birds and spotlight how they join individuals throughout geographies and ecosystems.
Judges will award 9 prizes to Chile and Colombia residents and eight prizes to U.S. and Canada residents. The competition is open to all authorized residents of Colombia, Chile, the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada (excluding Quebec) who’re 13 years of age or older as of the date of the submission. All submissions should adhere to Audubon’s Guide to Ethical Bird Photography and Videography.
Entry is free for residents of Chile and Colombia and $15 per picture or video for people within the U.S. and Canada. No fee is required for submissions to the Youth division for entrants who’re 13 to 17 years of age.
