    Corkscrew Members are invited to attend a digital lecture on March 13: Celebrating Raptor Conservation in Florida, that includes Katie Warner, Heart Director, and Daisy Fiore, PhD, Senior Training Coordinator, at Audubon Heart for Birds of Prey.

    Audubon Center for Birds of Prey is a premier rehabilitation and schooling facility devoted to rescuing, treating, and releasing Florida’s raptors, together with the lovable Jap Screech-Owlets proven right here. 

    Throughout the lecture, Katie will share highlights in regards to the Nationwide Audubon Society’s origins in Maitland and the next institution of the Heart, in addition to the newest information on raptor conservation efforts in Florida. 

    Then, Daisy Fiore, PhD, will take us on a particular journey by way of the Heart’s Raptor Trauma Clinic whereas offering useful data on defend raptors in your personal neighborhood.
